Mechanically sealed pumps are the solution of choice for highly corrosive and high temperature applications when the use of magnetically coupled pumps is not the optimum solution (e.g. because of the high solids load of the pumped fluid).
Mechanical Seal Pumps

MUNSCH
At Chem Resist we have the industry-leading MUNSCH REA mechanical seal pump – specifically developed for non-metallic pumps and available in single or double arrangements, ensuring maximum operating reliability and long service life while being easy to assemble and repair.
MUNSCH mechanical seal pumps stand for operating reliability, robustness, maximum energy efficiency, ease of maintenance, low lifecycle costs and ease of assembly and disassembly.

WHAT IS A MECHANICAL SEAL PUMP?
Mechanical seal pumps are the solution of choice for highly corrosive and high-temperature applications when the use of magnetically coupled pumps is not the optimum solution (e.g. because of the high solids load of the pumped fluid).
A mechanical seal is simply a method of containing fluid within a vessel (typically pumps, mixers, etc.) where a rotating shaft passes through a stationary housing or occasionally, where the housing rotates around the shaft.
