Tom is studying Chemical Engineering at Newcastle University and has just finished his 3rd year; this is the second time that Tom has spent a work placement with Chem Resist.Rebecca is studying Chemical Engineering with Energy Engineering at Heriot – Watt University in Edinburgh and Rebecca has also just finished her 3rd year.

Tom will be taking a more ‘hands on’ approach this time as his previous placement was mainly focused on theoretical challenges.

Rebecca has taken on a project to design a water storage and distribution facility at Chem Resist that will significantly reduce water usage on site – as every tank we manufacture is hydrostatically tested our current water consumption is significant!
