Plastic Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps
The Almatec E-Series AODD pumps are designed to offer the ultimate in demanding, long service performance through their solid design. Featuring a single central and two side housings separated by connected diaphragms operated with the Perswing P air control system to give optimised capacity, flow patterns and pump safety
The exterior of the E Series is free of metal making them ideal for corrosive atmospheres. The Perswing P system reduces noise levels and requires no maintenance or lubrication, reducing operating costs.
The absence of any drives, rotating parts and shaft seals eliminates internal wear and potential failure. Housings are tightened to each other by housing bolts tightened against a diaphragm sized ring on each side, giving an even distribution of the housing bolt force and an increase permissible bolt torque, improving pump safety.
Optional pulsation dampers mount directly to the pump centre housing (threaded and flanged options) which means no extra pipework is required and dampers can be easily retrofitted.
Available in a range of materials and with ATEX conformity to 2014/34/EU
Self-priming, dry run capability as well as solids handling are further features.
