Customer Requirement:

A Sodium Hydroxide storage tank with the capabilities to prevent the tank contents from freezing at cold temperatures and consideration for low level inspection and maintenance access.

Chem Resist Solution:

Design, manufacture and installation of a 60m3 self-bunded Sodium Hydroxide storage tank, with consideration for a bayonet heater to be used within the airgap to prevent the tank contents from freezing. Additional manways allowed for inspection and maintenance without operatives working at height.

Customer Benefits:

A complete chemical and weather resistant spiral wound polyethylene storage tank and bund, designed so the bayonet heater can be used within the inbuilt airgap to prevent the tank contents from freezing. The access manways give safe, low level access to the tank and bund for inspection and maintenance.

1x 60m3 self-bunded Sodium Hydroxide storage tank 1×19.5kW side entry removable bayonet heater & controller 1x integral galvanised mild steel roof perimeter handrail.
