We pioneered the use of Thermoplastics back in the 1960s, due to their broad range of chemical compatibility which has led to our position today of being one of the leading Thermoplastic specialists in Europe.

We manufacture Chemical Storage & Process Tanks, Fume Scrubbers and Dilution & Blending Systems. This is uniquely complemented by our Pipework Systems and Fluid Transfer Divisions, enabling us to design and manufacture complete chemical storage and transfer systems specific to our customer requirements.

Pipework Systems – Technical Sales & Business Development 

We’re recruiting for an additional Technical Sales Engineer at our facility in Dewsbury to join the Pipework Systems team. Working alongside our Pipework Systems Manager, the main focus of the role will be to maintain and develop existing and new customer relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business and receive ongoing support and development as this new role develops.

Our Requirements;

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven individual who is willing to contribute to our very successful and experienced sales team.  Key attributes need to be;

  • Excellent personal communication skills: by telephone, email, online meetings and face to face
  • Good attention to detail: many of our quotations are for detailed complex solutions, these need to be accurately detailed and presented
  • Proven sales and commercial skills: ability to maintain and develop and close existing and new customer opportunities
  • Technically minded with the ability to find solutions

In addition, experience in the following would be an advantage

  • Experience of Thermoplastic Pipework & Process Plant installations
  • Working with installation and site teams

We anticipate the role will grow and develop with the right individual, but it will primarily involve;

  • Liaising with new and existing customers by means of email, telephone, video call and meetings in person
  • Understanding and meeting customer requirements, providing excellent levels of service.
  • Developing enquiries and producing fully costed, detailed proposals for clients
  • Negotiating opportunities with customers
  • Working with internal departments and site teams
  • Visiting customer sites to establish solutions and specifications
  • Maintaining information within our ERP system
  • Producing reports as required
  • Ongoing business development
