Service key to Chem Resist success

Chemical distribution group Omnichem have taken delivery of four chemical storage tanks and pipework systems from Chem Resist Ltd – based in Dewsbury West Yorkshire.

Omnichem Chemicals Ltd has its head office in Melton Mowbray Leicestershire together with a distribution depot, also in Dewsbury, blending and supplying high quality chemicals to a wide spectrum of industry including water, textile, paper, engineering and agriculture.

Service, says Managing Director and joint owner Dr John McKeon, is absolutely key and has helped propel the group to an almost £20 million turnover:-

“Fast delivery is vital. 48 hours or under is the norm, but some customers get daily deliveries from us – and even faster than that if necessary! Chem Resist have the same philosophy. It chimes perfectly with our outlook on service and it’s why we like working with them.”

The four tanks recently supplied contain acetic acid at 80%, hydrochloric acid at 36%, sodium hypochlorite 14% and NTA at 40% - all constructed by the spiral wound thermoplastic method for which Chem Resist is an acknowledged market leader.

Says Dr McKeon :-

“Price is always important of course but the quality of Chem Resist tanks is good. It’s a very good product and is finished very well. The installation teams are excellent and the whole project was extremely professional from start to finish.
