Angle and In-Line Designs in PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, PVDF and PTFE

PLAST-O-MATIC makes two types of Pressure Relief Valve, the RVT and the RVD/RVDM.

The RVT is an angle pattern design featuring a non-sticking solid PTFE shaft passing through three U-Cup seals. Venting between the upper and centre U-Cups results in the patented FAIL-DRY design for added protection. If the two lower U-Cups seals fail, fluid weeps through a vent port indicating maintenance should be carried out. In the meantime the third seal continues to protect the control spring.

The RVD is an angle pattern design featuring a single diaphragm which is an advantage where crystallisation problems can cause valve sticking.

The RVDM is an in-line pattern design.

Plast-O-Matic pressure Relief Valves:

• Handle highly corrosive or ultra-pure liquids
• Provide by-pass flow relief to avoid pump damage
• Prevent over pressuring of vessels and piping systems
• Maintain back-pressure in piping systems
• Offer a wide range of pressure setting with sensitive operation
• Designed with PTFE shaft for non-sticking operation in RVT series
• Diaphragm designs RVD and RVDM eliminate crystallisation problems
• Available in in-line and angle patterns
• Provide minimum maintenance through simple and efficient design
