Chem Resist have Fume Scrubber design and construction experience particularly in the field of Wet Scrubbing Techniques for Corrosive Fumes and Odours.
With our own in-house chemical and mechanical engineering capability Chem Resist can take your fume abatement project through from design of the fume capture apparatus, the selection of abatement method, construction of the fume scrubbing system and ductwork to the installation and commissioning of system.
The combination of spiral wound thermoplastic cylinder technology and in-house pump and control equipment means Chem Resist can tailor the design and construction of your equipment to your site needs and provide continuing spares back-up from stock for your plant in operation.
Our major installations fall into 2 main equipment categories:
Turbulent Contact Fume ScrubberAbsorption – TCA - a fluidised bed technology capable of handling gases with solids entrained and a design resulting in smaller diameter towers for equivalent gas flowrates.
Static Packed Fume ScrubberTowers - the conventional approach to abatement of clean corrosive process gases using a combined packed column with lower integral scrubbing liquor reservoir.
