Neil pumped full of enthusiasm
Chem Resist’s Fluid Transfer division, which supplies many of the world’s leading chemical pumps, is enjoying
a more than 50% increase in year-on-year sales.
Based in Dewsbury for over 40 years, we are an established market leader in the design and manufacture of
chemical storage tanks and vessels to the power, water and chemical/pharmaceutical sectors; now our Fluid
Transfer division - under the direction of Neil Williams - reports that UK-based companies are discovering
the world-class pumps they require are actually right here in Yorkshire.
Says Neil:-
“Our regular customers include GlaxoSmithKline, Unilever, Ciba-Geigy and Kodak as we are UK distributors
for Almatec,World Chemical, Pan World and Schmitt pumps amongst others - and we can offer over 30 years
of expert experience in the most aggressive fluid transfer applications such as corrosive chemicals and acids.”
Neil says Chem Resist is benefiting in the current economic climate as companies undertake refurbishment
programmes to keep current plant operating as efficiently as possible.
“We’ve been a bit of a well-kept secret until now,” Neil admits,“but once companies began to realise the world’s
top pumps are on their doorstep and mostly instantly available from stock, business has really taken off!”
