Chem Resist specialise in the manufacture of chemical storage tanks for applications ranging from weakly acidic/alkaline, up to extreme situations such as 96% Sulphuric Acid or 50% Sodium Hydroxide.
Our specialist chemical storage tank design team are able to look at each application individually, developing bespoke solutions for the storage of corrosive chemicals. The extent of the resistance to corrosion of both Polyethylene and Polypropylene is often surprising to those who have historically used stainless steel or GRP. The ability to withstand chemical effects on all surfaces, without the limit of fill cycles or chemical reaction, can make thermoplastics an ideal material for chemical storage tank manufacture.

This is by no means the extent of the chemicals that can be stored in Polyethylene and Polypropylene.
As standard, our chemical storage tanks are manufactured in Beige (RAL 7032) for Polypropylene & Black (RAL 9005) for Polyethylene. Due to our unique manufacturing process, any RAL colour can be chosen to enable the provision of chemical storage tanks to suit the surroundings or planning requirements.
