Detergent Mixing-Recirculation Facility

This client has grown to become one of the leading and largest suppliers of cleaning products to the food industries of the UK and Ireland.

Growth had naturally required major increases in production capacity and in 2007 Chem Resist where approached to discuss another capacity increase. After site visits and presentations to senior managers a change to Chem Resist’s Mixing Recirculation technology was approved.

The project consisted of installing new raw material storage tanks, piping all the feed chemicals to a central position on the production plant and designing a fully automatic, recipe driven blending facility.

Two 15m³ Mixing Recirculation tanks complete with recirculation and discharge pumps now automatically mix the major production requirements of the clients product range. The arrangement of the tanks allows ease of filling into packages ranging from 25 litre to 1000 litre IBCs.

Working closely with relevant staff the project was completed in time to cope with a seasonal surge in demand for their products.
